What support is always available?
Urge support, basic progress, safety information, and professional support resources stay available without Pro.
A paywall never interrupts you while you are asking for help with an urge.
Where can I find professional support?
Professional support is always available from Settings. It also appears through More support for relevant habit categories.
The bundled UK resources point to NHS services for general, alcohol, and gambling support. Other regions can use the international helpline directory or contact a qualified local professional or public health service.
External services have their own availability and eligibility rules. Wait Out does not monitor those services or capture your support-link interactions in product analytics.
Is Wait Out medical care?
No. Wait Out is a supportive wellbeing app. It does not diagnose a condition, provide emergency help, or promise a treatment result.
A qualified professional can help you choose care that fits your situation.
If you may be dependent on alcohol, speak to a healthcare professional before stopping suddenly. If a breathing or movement exercise feels uncomfortable, stop and choose another tool.
How do I get help with the app or my account?
Email hello@waitout.app for product or account questions. You can also open Settings, choose Help, then Contact Wait Out support.
For a technical problem, include your device model, operating system, app version, and the steps that led to the problem. Leave out passwords, payment information, private notes, and screenshots containing sensitive habit details.
This mailbox is for product and account help. It is not an emergency or clinical support service.
What can I use offline?
After setting up your first habit, you can view cached Home data, use a guided urge tool, record an outcome, check in, and add a note offline. Your updates can sync when you reconnect with sync enabled.
Sign-in, account deletion, store purchases, and external support links need a connection. Turning sync off preserves the cloud copy but stops new uploads; deleting the app removes unsynced local records.
Where can I export or delete my account?
Open Settings, then Your data. Export includes local records and pending changes; when sync is disabled, the export is device-only and may omit records kept only in the cloud.
Delete account requires fresh sign-in verification and a connection. If deletion fails, keep the app installed, reconnect, and retry; contact hello@waitout.app if you cannot complete the request or sign in.
Export anything you want to keep before deletion. Deleting the app alone does not delete your cloud account, and deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore, cancel, or request a refund?
Open Settings, then Pro, to restore purchases or manage a subscription. Use the store account that made the purchase, and check that you are signed into the intended Wait Out account.
Subscriptions and eligible trials renew unless cancelled in the store. Deleting Wait Out or your app account does not stop billing; cancel the subscription separately through Apple or Google.
Refund requests are handled through the store’s process and applicable consumer rights. Never email full payment card details to Wait Out support.
What if I cannot sign in?
Use the same Apple, Google, or email sign-in you used to create your account. For an email account, choose Continue with email, then Forgot password? to request a reset link.
Check your inbox and spam folder and follow the reset link. If it has expired or you still cannot access the account, request a new link or contact hello@waitout.app.
Wait Out support will not ask for your password or a password-reset link.
Where can I download Wait Out?
Wait Out is planned to launch first on iPhone and Android. Verified store links will be added to the website as soon as they are ready.
A separate web or desktop app is not available yet.
